The not so lil one sits carefree
watching the sun streaming in
it was all so beautiful
little dust angels dancing about
trees waving, birds chirping
the wind gentle, animals wandering
even the sky seemed to dance with colours
smiling without caution
body being wrecked by pains
hair falling off
skinny with a yellow pallor
wobbling feets
skeleton clearly outlined
sitting in a wheelchair
tubes snaking in and out
none of these was felt
only the joy of living
